Today, the INYS took part in the expert seminar about Indonesia’s Rise and Democracy Promotion in Asia at the Netherlands Institute of International Relations ‘Clingendael’. We thank Clingendael for organizing and inviting us for this special event because this shows us that the INYS is seen as important when it comes to talking about the future of Indonesia and it’s relationship with the Netherlands.
This stormy but fruitful day ended with a public lecture by Hassan Wirajuda, former Foreign Affairs Minister of the Republic of Indonesia about Democracies, Non-Democracies and Democratization in Asia.
